Description

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.

Fits right up his alley, doesn’t have to show any range.. just has to be an action star.. great story line, actors and the right amount of action..I’ve watched it at least 10 times.

I can really appreciate a movie that conveys really subtle tidbits that are available to those that really pay attention to the details.

I greatly enjoyed this movie. The acting was very good and I appreciated how the various story lines unfolded and revealed their realities at the appropriate moments. I also feel that the state or quality of being autistic was presented sincerely and authentically.

Awesome with the best ending. Watched it in 2018 on my iPad mini with my Sony Bluetooth earbuds. Can’t wait to see it on the big screen in surround sound.

The reviewer CJ Johnson at Australia ABC Radio got it right - this is an interesting combination of Good Will Hunting and Jason Bourne. I have watched it many times and each time it gives up something new. Fight scenes are well choreographed. Even if it's a little hokey and there are massive plot holes...the end result is very solid, a fact which the critics will never get. If you liked Good Will Hunting and Jason Bourne, this movie will deliver for you.

I did not expect this movie go so hard when I saw Ben was in it, every actor had highs and lows. This one defined high for me. Worth to watch it.

A lot of reviews seem to thing this movie should have been an accurate potrail of a person with autism. Its not, nor does it try to be. Its a thriller where the main character happens to be autistic. His autism plays somewhat into the story, but it is not "the plot". I found the plot and characters to be more engaging than any thriller I've seen in a long time. I watched it twice and picked up more interesting pieces the second time through. Definitley worth at least a rental.
  • A highly intelligent film

This film shows how Affleck won the Batman role. Action aside, this is a highly intelligent movie. There are things throughout that are interlinked, and to catch every thing you need to watch it more than once and take note of what you are seeing. The unseen Brit is a pleasant example of this. Those who are into a simply story and tons of action might not be huge fans because of the other mechanations going on. For this reviewer, it was very satisfying. I like this enough to hope for a sequel.
