As the likelihood of finding a diplomatic solution fades, an elite group of commandos hatch a fearless plot to rescue the hostages before time runs out. Daniel Brühl (Captain America: Civil War), Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) and Eddie Marsan (Atomic Blonde) star in this riveting thriller inspired by true events.

Hollywood left-leaning, pro-terrorist movie. Any surprise? Left coast trash.

The 1976 version with Bronson is superb compared to this mess!

If you are looking for a high powered action film that relies on violence and a good vs evil plot, then you might find this one a bit lacking. The pace can be slow and ponderous at times, and the narrative hard to follow as the film skips awkwardly back and forth through time. Yet, if you are patient and willing to be challenged by the various characters' internal uncertainties, you might find the film to be a bit of a gem. One of the true highlights of the film is the juxtaposition of the Israeli raid to free the hostages with scenes of modern dance. The director took a chance that paid well!

It had thrills AND modern dance. I loved it. I loved the dance integrated into the action movie. Well worth watching. Politically frustrating because there are still no peace talks in 2018 just the same as in 1975. People are still dying. As depicted at the end of the movie, politicians just run forever on their little gerbil wheels, getting nowhere but ending up very tired, accomplishing NOTHING.
  • Poorly written directed and performed

This was a Terrible movie this was poorly written poorly acted and poorly organized. In an attempt to be artistic this movie fails fails fails the writers should be ashamed at mixing these unimportaant poorly performed dance sequences with such an important time in history Whoever is responsible for this movie should be ashamed it is a gross representation of facts, Do not watch this film. My rating is no stars if that is possible.

One of the greatest commando raids in military history and the director ruined it by cutting back and forth between the raid and some weird and totally irrelevant chair dancing. Clearly not directed by any Clint Eastwood type director. This is just unbearable to watch.
  • Seriously bad

How the hell can you turn a military movie into interpretive dance?? It was more Fiddler on the Roof than Entebbe. So bad I considered asking Apple for my money back. I only give it one star because I have to give it some kind of star rating to submit the review. I've purchased a ton of movies from iTunes and this was easily the worst. Avoid like a mutated plague.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Totally an insult to the memory of this dramatic raid. I DO NOT recommend this movie in any way. SAVE money, do not purchase or even Rent.
