A faithful wife (Taraji P. Henson) tired of standing by her devious husband (Lyriq Bent) is enraged when it becomes clear she has been betrayed.
Once you notice how bad the acting is (even the narrating) you can’t un-notice it. Some of the lines just seem so forced and corny. The story is also very predictable and cliche—granted that it does happen in real life and all but it’s nothing unique. The movie had so much potential, I love Tyler Perry movies, but this one just failed me. Im gonna watch “Why Did I Get Married?” to cover this one up 😔
The movie begins well, but quickly spirals into a set of over emphasizes scenarios that are so far-fetched and unrealistic. The ending was horrible! I was very disappointed!
I went into this with low expectations seeing the reviews are all over the place and critics aren’t exactly falling over each other to recommend it. However, I found this movie to be incredibly well done. The person I was rooting for this entire movie switched roles in a mere 60 seconds of chivalry. This was definitely a fun ride that had me seriously wondering how it would all end. So don’t buy into the negative hype and give it a shot for yourself. And to the reviewer that stated Taraji only showed about 20 minutes of rage, were you even watching the same film?! 🤦♂️
Mouth dropping good
Such a great movie!
Not a bad film
I can see how a lot of females may not like the light it shows of a woman yet it was a good film worth the watch....
Okay NOT great
I walked away with no big memories or thoughts of "Wow, that was really good!". The ending seemed sub-par and appeared to be thrown together with very little thought thrown into it. The middle, when it should be approching it's most exciting or at least approching something dramatic, was alright, definitely not anything special. Nothing extra special here, that basically explains this entire movie! Good for 1 watch but no more...
ghetto ephiphany thrill twist plot.... SHE CRAY ya gotta watch it
I just purchased this but it didn’t give me the movie how’s that what a waste of payment
Too much crazy
I usually LOVE Tyler Perry films. However, this was a little too much crazy. I was completely disgusted and probably won’t ever watch it again.
