A former Marine and ex–FBI agent, Joe has seen one too many crime scenes and known too much trauma, and not just in his professional life. Solitary and haunted, he prefers to be invisible. He doesn't allow himself friends or lovers and makes a living rescuing young girls from the deadly clutches of the sex trade. But when a high-ranking New York politician hires him to extricate his teenage daughter from a Manhattan brothel, Joe uncovers a web of corruption that even he may not be able to unravel. When the men on his trail take the only person left in the world who matters to him, he forsakes his pledge to do no harm. If anyone can kill his way to the truth, it's Joe.

  • Artsy, but Good, Movie

It’s not boring. It’s kinda beautiful film on a really tough subject. It’s just artsy as can be. It’s not thrilling or suspenseful. It’s not an action adventure. But, it’s quality film. I get the feeling that the director is really in love with himself.

Horrible horrible movie. Didn’t even finish the movie. There’s 40 minutes of my life I’ll never get back, not to mention the 15 bucks.

  • So boring

During the first half, the movie is so boring. Once the action begins it's just not interesting. I made the mistake of buying it. So unhappy.

This movie has it all! I went to the movies going into this movie expecting to be highly dissapointed. What happened next is I came out a fan of the director and of this movie 100Xs over. Raw, Real and in your face.... if you want sugar coating and to feel comfortable... this is not for you.

Wait until you can rent it.
  • Waste of Time

If you like dragged out storylines, endless scenes with nothing but daily living (sitting in a car), long periods of no talking, crying, and an un-epic ending... than this movie is perfect for you. Very little GOOD action. A morbid and unenthusiastic lead character, the acting was great but the story really sucked cheez-its through the nostril. So, see it, or don’t, but I’d wait until you can rent it first.
  • This is what one calls ‘a masterpiece’

A perfectly balanced well-told story. Brilliant execution. If you missed this at the cinema, you missed a great time.
