Ed Helms (The Hangover 1 & 2) and John C. Reilly (Step Brothers) lead an all-star cast in the comedy that shows what can happen...when insurance agents go wild! Shy and naive Tim Lippe (Helms) ventures to the “big city” of Cedar Rapids for a convention and ends up crossing paths with the ultimate party animal (Reilly). Before long, Tim is crashing parties, skinny-dipping in the hotel pool and being seduced by a sexy soccer mom. And if Tim can survive the weekend, he might just change his life forever!

I laughed once when John C. Reilly’s butt was showing in the pool party scene but that’s it.
  • Waste of time and a $1

Nothing comical to see here. Basically, a compilation of business meeting antics and B movie acting. Your better off painting that fence your trying to avoid.

I've never seen something so bad. I just watched Tyler Perry's Acrimony and was blown away by how bad it is and then I remembered Cedar Rapids. My sister-in-law and I wanted to walk out of this at the cinema, but, my brother insisted we stay because it was his choice to see it. We've never forgiven him and, honestly, I'm really surprised she didn't leave him because of it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
  • Funny film, totally underrated

Cedar Rapids is one of those sneaks up on you. Great cast, characters and story line you're not expecting. Loved it.

Dont believe the hype -- This movie is not particularly clever or funny -- save your money --
  • Great movie, but not a comedy.

I really enjoyed this movie, but I think it’s more of a comedy-drama than it is a comedy. It definitely isn’t haha outloud funny, but there are some parts that you know are a bit humorous.
  • Lovely

Charming and non-judgmental. May be uncomfortable for folks who are afraid of seeing their own flaws through others.
  • Really funny!

It will make you laugh out loud.
  • Terrible

Not sure how it got a fresh rating on RT but this movie was a huge disappointment. The lead character was overly pathetic. I may have gotten one laugh out of the gruling 2 hours but it left me wishing I hadn't purchased it at all.
